Tip of the Week

Doing a Miscue Analysis is the tool for determining the proper instruction that targets specific student concerns.

Analyzing the types of errors students make during oral reading allows the teacher to see why the errors are being made. The types of errors students make are from meaning, visual cues, or from syntax cues.

This article is helpful for distinguishing these errors.
