Read to Someone
For fluency practice, students at this rotation spend time in pairs taking turns to read to each other. Each simultaneously have a role. One student is the reader, practicing fluency and reading to an audience with inflection. The other student is working on listening and comprehension skills and is prepared with questions to ask the reader that are relevant to the passage. Students can also participate in a Read and Roll activity to discuss the passage as well!
